The ChatCompare Team built the ChatCompare app as a free-to-download app with optional in-app purchases (subscriptions and credits). This SERVICE is provided by the ChatCompare Team and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

We do not collect personally identifiable information from our users. The app does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or phone number to function.

API Keys (BYOK): If you choose to use your own API keys, these keys are stored securely on your local device. They are never transmitted to our servers.

ChatCompare lets you attach photos, PDFs, and other files to your chats, and upload images for AI image and video generation. This content is processed only by the third-party AI providers you choose.

• What is collected: When you voluntarily attach a file or image, it is sent to your selected AI providers to produce a response. ChatCompare does not perform facial recognition, age estimation, or any biometric analysis.
• How it is used: Your uploads are used solely to generate the AI result you requested — never for advertising, tracking, or profiling.
• Third-party sharing: Files are transmitted directly from your device to the selected AI providers via their APIs. Our servers do not store or retain your uploads; each provider processes them under its own privacy policy.
• Storage: Generated results and your inputs may be stored locally on your device as history, which you can delete at any time within the app.
• User control: Uploading any file is entirely voluntary and only happens when you explicitly attach or select it.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
